More than
twenty staff at Stafford House have received First Aid training this year,
boosting the total number of qualified staff to thirty five. Each course
takes one day to complete and is aimed specifically at office-workers,
teachers and residence staff and covers a variety of typical and
hypothetical situations.
The qualification lasts for three years and covers basic life-saving and
first aid.
Another three staff attended a more advanced four day course in Maidstone.
This extra first aid training will enable staff to respond to more serious
emergencies. |
