On Wednesday 11th December students from
Stafford House College
and the Stafford House
School of English
entered into the festive spirit and celebrated at their end of term
Christmas party.
The evening was a tremendous success and attracted more than one hundred
students and staff. Highlights of the evening included a visit from Santa
Claus, a karaoke competition and a timeless musical rendition of the
‘Periodic Table’ from Dr Howard Clark, Chemistry teacher who students were
fondly referring to as ‘The Nutty Professor’ (You can watch him
singing/teaching by clicking

Everyone at the party was also treated to performances from Drama and
Theatre Studies students. Nao, Shiho, Sayaka and Mai, from Japan
demonstrated their carefully choreographed dancing skills and Rashed Al
Mansouri paid tribute to the world-famous entertainer Charlie Chaplin
(You can watch the dancing by clicking

Melina Farinas, an English language student from Venezuela said: ‘I had a
really nice time. The dancers were great and the teachers were lots of fun.
The best part was watching people with the Karaoke, especially watching my
friend Guilherme singing YMCA’.
As well an opportunity for students and staff to relax and socialize whilst
eating mince pies, the event also raised money for the BBC Children’s
charity ‘Children in Need’ from the sale of a variety of hand-made Christmas
cards.
