Drama Production - Arsenic & Old Lace          (Back)

   

 
The drama department at Stafford House College joined with both members of staff and fellow students to present a three night production of 'Arsenic and Old Lace'.
  
The show was a tremendous success and packed the theatre for each performance. The show lasted just under an hour and was Act 1 of the Joseph Kesselrine classic comedy.
   
The production ran Tuesday through Friday and starring Shiho Kudo as aunt Abby, Sayaka Ono as Aunt Martha, Keith Carey as Mortimer, Dr Howard Clarke as Teddy, Zhang Yue (Michelle) as his love interest
Elaine, Florian Steiger as Rev. Harper, Sophie Carey as Sgt. Brophy and Katie Lloyd-Baker as Officer Klein.
   
Miriam O’Gara, who directed and produced the play said: ‘The cast were outstanding and it has been so much fun. Acts two and three are currently in rehearsal and new performance dates are being decided this week, so we look forward for the next instalment of the world of 1930's black comedy.
